Clachaig has a long history, and has seen many additions over the years, along with extensive refurbishment and improvement. The bedrooms are generally located in 3 different wings of the building, each with it’s own distinct character.

Ossian Wing

The Ossian Wing is in the older part of the building. As a result, these bedrooms are packed with character. They typically have combed ceilings and a warm and cosy feel. All of our bedrooms with baths are located in the Ossian Wing.

These rooms capture the feel and style of the more traditional Highland hostelry.

Bidean Wing

Large windows ensure a bright and airy feel to these rooms, and the Twin rooms, with magnificent mountain views are often requested during the summer months.

These rooms are above our Bidean Lounge, though noise transfer is minimal and the bars close at 11pm (midnight on Fridays).

The Lodge

The most recent addition to Clachaig, built in the mid 1980s with a motel style in mind. Although separate from the main building, access is protected by a covered walk way. The ability to park right outside some of these rooms, and the open elevations to the glen make these rooms a popular choice.

There are 5 bedrooms in the Lodge where a single dog is permitted, subject to modest additional charge and acceptance of our dog policy.
