MIDAS
MIDAS (Mac, Iain, David, Archie, Simon) was founded in November 2022 with members Mac, Iain, David and Archie all experienced and competent musicians having “paid their dues” in the working mens clubs of the 80’s and 90’s and in various function bands since.
Vocalist, Simon, joined the band to provide some youthful exuberance to the line up and that seems to be working very well in the local bars!
Our mission was always to play a variety of songs (some quite challenging) that primarily we like in the hope that our audience would also like them. So far we’ve had a very positive crowd response and we’ve never been boo’d off stage, we must be doing something right!
We cover a wide range of material from rock to country and even some 70s disco!
