FRAS, Gàidhlig for a shower play wild west coast music on accordion, bagpipes, banjo, flute and guitar.
Wild West Highland days and storming tune-fuelled nights have formed Fras.Their debut album, dile, is a bracing shower of melodies, a downpour of thundering rhythm with the occasional promise of sunshine.
Fras are:
Angus Binnie from Cromarty on Pipes and whistles, Murdo Cameron from Glenelg on Guitar, Tam ‘the Banjo’ Kinsella from Arisaig, Kirsten MacLeod from Acharacle on accordion and Colin Masterton, Ballachullish/Cumbernauld, on flutes and whistles
