Payments & Cancellations
- When making a reservations full payment for the first night, for each room booked is required to confirm the booking. This can be paid by Credit/Debit Card or Bank Transfer. Alternatively, Clachaig Vouchers equalling the cost of the room can be used for payment. In this case you must provide the voucher numbers when booking.
- All cancellations but be notified in writing.
- If a booking is cancelled we will only refund the deposit paid if we are able to re-sell the room at the same rate for each night that is booked. We reserve the right to charge an admin fee. It may be possible to transfer any deposit to a future booking.
Smoking & Vaping
- Scottish law dictates that smoking is strictly prohibited in any enclosed public area, such as our bars and communal areas. All our bedrooms are non-smoking and non-vaping. Furthermore, you must not tamper with our fire detection system.
- If you do, we reserve the right to terminate your booking without refund and charge you any costs we incur if you smoke or cause damage in our Inn including costs for specialist cleaning (to make the room fit for sale as a non-smoking environment) and the cost of the room for any period it is unusable.
- Vaping is not permitted anywhere in the Inn.
Dogs
- We have a limited number of dog rooms available. Dog friendly rooms can only be booked by directly contacting our reception team. Dog friendly rooms cannot be booked on online. For full details on our dog policy please follow the link to our website.
- Only one dog per room. Please see the dog policy for rates. Guide dogs are exempt from this charge.
- We only accept dogs; no other pets are permitted.

Check In/Out
- We aim to have all our rooms ready for check in by 16.00. Quite often your room will be ready before that time, so please check with reception when you arrive.
- We request you depart your room no later than 10.30 on the day of departure.
Late Arrivals
- Our Reception is open until 21.00 each night. If you plan to arrive later than this please let us know. You will be able to check in up until midnight.
Access Times
- Reception will open at 08.00 each morning.
- Doors to the Inn are locked following the closure of the bars each night.
- If you are planning to return to the Inn after midnight please let us know.
Group Bookings
- We do not take bookings for Stag or Hen parties.
- In consideration to other guests, noise levels must be kept to a minimum especially after 23.00.
- All guest names are required for bookings of two rooms or more, so we can allocate rooms for fire safety.
Children
- Children are allowed in our Lounge Bar until 22.00. Under 18’s are not permitted in the Boots Bar under any circumstance.
Food Allergens
- Please let us know of any food allergies prior to arrival.
- Our bars have an extensive list of all food allergens for each dish on our main menu.
